Parts shift. Foam compresses wrong. Something arrives cracked. It happens more than it should, and usually because the packaging wasn’t built for that specific part.
At Lamar Packaging Systems, we custom-design and produce EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) molded foam to the exact shape and dimensions of your product. No filler. No guesswork. Just foam that holds your part in place from pickup to delivery.
Why EPS Works
EPS is lightweight, strong under pressure, and easy to tool — which makes it a practical choice for a lot of applications, especially in automotive and industrial shipping.
Here’s what you get:
- Custom-molded fit — designed around your part, not a generic template
- Shock absorption — handles the bumps, drops, and stacking that happen in transit
- Lightweight — keeps your shipping costs from climbing
- High-volume consistency — every piece comes out the same
How We Build It
We start by looking at your part — shape, weight, how it’s handled, how it stacks. From there, our design team builds the foam around it. We prototype, test, and confirm the fit before anything goes into production.
We work across automotive, solar, medical, aerospace, and recreational industries. A part that needs a Class A surface against foam is a different problem than a heavy brake assembly that needs to stay put in a rack. Both are things we’ve done.
